The breakfast was very good - lots of fruit and good juice.

Sleeping on the bed was like sleeping on a floor - it was very firm, too firm for me and I did not sleep well.

Very Clean place,friendly stuff, beautiful pool, tasty free breakfast (excellent service), very quiet area, excellent facilities. Will highly recommend to family and friends.

Everything about the hotel was perfect, only two things that should improve in order to be an A+ hotel. 1.Receptionist at check-in was not friendly at all, didn't greet us or explained hotel area and facilities. Thankfully the security guard on duty was very helpful and greet us in a friendly and repectful manner. 2. Pillows!!!! Pillows were way too hard, every morning we woke up with neck pain. We had to go to the store and buy our own (softer) pillows.

What was the highlight of Hotel Club del Sol Atacames

I loved the quality of the hotel in comparison to other hotels around. I was very happy with the towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo the room came with as well as the room service who changed our towels everyday. In other hotels you don't get towels, soap, or shampoo. I felt secure leaving my GoPro, cellphone, and wallet in the room with the room service person in there cleaning the room. In many hotels you can't leave anything valuable, Especially in sight because when you come back it might be gone and no one will answer for it. Another thing I liked was the sheets and covers of the bed because they looked fresh and clean of that makes sense. In other hotels you walk in see the sheets and even though they might be clean, the color or design gives of like a dirty impression. All of these things matter in a hotel.

What I didn't like was the price. Although the hotel was very nice IN COMPARISON to OTHERS around, I didn't think it was worth $100 a night. Don't be fooled by the price you see in booking because at the end they add 10% tax and a service fee as well. Originally it was supposed to be like $30 a night per person, and it came out to $50 a night per person. With my boyfriend it was $100 a night. It's like paying for a Holiday Inn, in the states. Hotels in Ecuador are supposed to be very cheap. Max $30 a night period. With tax and everything included. The fact that we had a walk in beach made up for everything, but then we realized that no one was in town when we went. It was what we call "low season" which means there were barely any tourist. So the fact that we had to pay that amount on bad season just made us angrier, because every other hotel around the areas lowered their price. High season is from June- August/Sep. We went in March. Atacames was dead. Altogether we really enjoyed our vacation, the weather was perfect and we felt very comfortable.

Customer service was awful...Front desk and staff , wer very dislikeable. Manager/Owner seems very dislikeable of black people, in other words he was prejudice and rude.
